How to pay BESCOM bill online

BESCOM has provided all its customers a online portal to facilitate payment of bills.

Here are the steps to follow to pay your bill successfully
 1. Click on the following link http://www.bescomepayment.com/EPayment/

 2. First time users have to Signup.
        a) Click on 'Register now' link
        b) Enter a valid Email Id, choose a username and password.
        c) A mail will be sent to the Email Id provided by you.
        d) Click on the link in the mail sent to confirm and authenticate your Email id.

 5. Return to http://www.bescomepayment.com/EPayment/ Login with the username & password.


 6. First time users have to add RR number by clicking on 'Add RR Number Button'

 7. Once RR Number has been added select the same from the pull down menu and click on 'SUBMIT'

 8. Details of the current bill is displayed.

 9. Scroll down to see logo of IDBI bank. Click on it.

10.You are redirected to a new window. Enter the card details and follow the instructions given.

11. A message is displayed once the transaction is successful.

12. you can cross check the same by logging in again.

    1. The user ID (email ID) and password are case sensitive. So just in case some of you entered capitals in any part of your email ID, it wont work until you reproduce exactly the same case of each alphabet - while logging in.

      This is how it worked for me - consistently. BTW - I had capitalised my first name - by mistake.

  22. Though tedious I could pay successfully. Just that every time there was a error I clicked try again. In the end the Bill receipt is not shown. I went and logged in again, and clicked on payment details. The receipt is shown with - "Paid Successfully".
    Should go with "Something better than Nothing" for now... ;)

If you pay telephone bill through online portal of BSNL, they are give 1% less offer, where as here while paying electricity bill through BESCOM , they are asking 1% more and + service charges...... This is too bad. Online payment will reduce the work load for users as well as for BESCOM emplyoees. BESCOM SHOULD REVERT THIS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. Am I right?

  32. Thanks for the information. I was searching from past 5 day to pay my bill online. Actually my new fill format has changed priviously i use to pay my bill by providing Sub division code, LocationID and Bill number. Now the bill doesnpt have these details instead it has AccountID.

    Please correct the following issues in your web site here:

    1) User IDs is the email ID - though you ask users to enter a user ID separately. Why do you ask for a user ID if you do not intend to use that information?

    2) User ID is case sensitive. I had entered my email ID with a capital letter in my first name, instead of entering all small letters. I believed that email ID would be converted to all small letters before getting stored in your system. Looks like you are storing email IDs as a case sensitive field. This is plain wrong. Email IDs are never case sensitive. Similarly user IDs are never case sensitive on any web site. Please correct this immediately. A lot of people would not have been able to login because of this.

Website sucks.. been trying to make payment for last one week - allows me to login successfully but does not except the "already accepted and existing" RR No. Always throws an error back "RR is not correct" .. How on earth can an existing RR be incorrect when I have been paying through the same RR for months now !! My Bill also shows the same error..

    BESCOM WAKE UP !! You are losing lot of timely revenue this way ...

  51. I pay my Airtel Land line and mobile bills (5 No.)through on line using debit card. I pay BWSSB bill also in the same way. I find it very easy and comfortable to pay my property tax to BBMP through on line. The procedure in all these cases are user friendly. There are no additional charges. Same thing cannot be said about BESCOM on line payment system.I find it difficult to make Bescom payment through internet. Added there is an extra amount of 1% and service tas are to be paid. Why should we pay when other utility service providers are not asking? It is high time concerned authorities learn from above agencies instead of forcing consumers to be under the mercy of some stupid private agency.

    i paid bill using this site some 4 days before due date, and now the lineman says that i have not paid the bill.
    BESCOM is upgrading the billing system and as usual doing it in haphazard unplanned way.

  70. I have been paying on this website for past couple of months and have found it to be very convenient to make the payment. However the only issue is that the bill does not appear online unless you write to a person by the name Ramesh in E9 subdivision. If BESCOM can make an arrangement like enabling the bill online something like 5 days after the paper bill generation it will really help the people who make online payment for their bills.

    This time when I tried to pay the bill, the site is still working fine, however I cant see the latest bill. I guess it takes a couple of days for the feeds to get updated. Will try again in 2-3 days.

  87. Request concerned BESCOM authorities to go through the feed back written. Not a single customer has had it easy to pay the bill. What is the fun in creating a site like this. It is a shame.
    When whole workd is talking of customer satisfaction, BESCOM lacks customer focus.There is NO accountability for the salary they are getting.
    Either they should set right the things or simply dismantle the site.
